WORKED EXAMPLE · FICTIONAL DETAILS
Follow up on a brand collaboration approval
For a creator or UGC professional, “waiting for approval” can refer to a concept, script, draft video or final publishing permission. Name the exact item so a check-in does not accidentally treat one approval as another.
Record the item being approved
Use one fictional campaign: a short product demonstration. Keep the brand/project label, the deliverable, the version shared and the specific approval requested. A script approval is not permission to publish a finished video. Record only permissions actually given; do not infer platform ownership or account access from a public profile.
Plan around the agreed review window
Suppose a draft was shared on 4 November 2026 and feedback was promised for 6 November. Choose a check-in after that agreed review window. If the intended publishing date is 10 November, keep it separate from the feedback date. If there is no promised review date, ask for one before marking a promise as missed.
Handle revisions explicitly
When feedback arrives, record what changed and whether another review is required. A message such as “looks good, just change the caption” may leave publication approval unresolved. Ask whether the revised caption needs another sign-off. Keep the original deadline and a history of confirmed updates rather than silently rewriting earlier commitments.
Keep platform actions under your control
PakkaFollow’s planned creator workflow tracks records and approval follow-ups; it does not connect to Instagram or YouTube, upload content, read DMs or publish for you. The sample below is editable wording, not an authorization to send. Review the brief and contract yourself.
