WORKED EXAMPLE · FICTIONAL DETAILS
Follow up on a sponsorship payment
A sponsorship follow-up needs accurate payment context. “Campaign finished” does not by itself mean a payment is overdue: the agreement may depend on acceptance, an invoice or another documented condition.
Check the agreement before choosing a date
In this fictional example, final work was accepted on 2 November 2026 and the agreed payment date is 16 November. Record those supported facts separately. If the contract says payment follows an invoice, verify that the invoice was actually issued and received. Do not let an AI draft invent an invoice number, balance or due date.
Track a request, not a prediction
Record the amount and currency only when known, the relevant reference, the next contact date and what the brand has actually said. Keep a payment promise distinct from funds received. A screenshot or “processed” reply is not necessarily bank receipt; verify through your normal records before marking the payment complete.
Ask for a precise update
After the agreed date, a calm request can state the project and reference, then ask for payment status or a confirmed date. Avoid unsupported penalties, legal threats or assertions that the other person deliberately withheld money. If there is a dispute, review the agreement and seek appropriate advice; a follow-up tool does not decide contractual rights.
Know the product boundary
PakkaFollow records your payment follow-up and next action. It is not an invoicing service, bank feed, payment collection tool or guarantee of recovery. Its own planned ₹999 monthly subscription is separate from payments your clients owe you. You send any message through your chosen channel.
