Follow-up message examples after no response

A useful follow-up names the real item and asks one answerable question. These are original synthetic examples, not customer messages. Replace the fictional labels, verify every date and amount, and use only information you are allowed to share.

Before sending

Check the recipient, the previous contact, any promised review date and whether they have already replied through another channel. Silence can have many causes. A reminder should not invent urgency, agreement, penalties or financial consequences. Choose your next contact deliberately rather than scheduling repeated messages without context.

Make the request easy to answer

A proposal may need a decision; a draft may need comments; missing copy needs a file. State the dependency instead of sending an empty “any update?” message. If you have no agreed date, ask for a useful date. If someone declines, stop treating the item as an open approval.

Save what actually happened

After you send a message, record the contact yourself and choose a next step. If the client promises a date, keep the promise separate from your own reminder. A generated draft is not a sent message and should never be counted as one.

Templates and optional AI

PakkaFollow’s reviewed workspace includes editable templates. Optional AI is not live and requires separate activation and consent. Neither a template nor an AI suggestion contacts a client automatically. You remain responsible for factual accuracy, tone and the decision to send.

Proposal

Hi Alex, checking whether you had a chance to review the proposal. Is there a scope question I can help clarify?

Approval

Hi Morgan, could you confirm whether the latest draft is approved or still needs changes? I’ll wait for your explicit go-ahead before publishing.

Missing input

Hi Taylor, I’m waiting for the approved product images to continue the layout. Could you confirm when you expect to share them?

Final check-in

Hi Jordan, one final check-in on the proposal. If priorities have changed, that is fine—please let me know whether to pause it for now.
